Painted or galvanized posts? Which posts for barbed wire fence should I choose?

Before building a barbed wire fence, you need to decide on the color. Galvanized and powder-coated variants differ in their resistance to outdoor conditions. Hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated posts are usually covered by a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. Posts covered only with hot-dip galvanized are usually covered by a 5-year warranty.

The color of posts for barbed wire fencing is also defined by the needs of the investment. For special, industrial investments where high visibility of fence elements is required, high-contrast colors are often used, i.e. RAL5010 (blue). The most commonly used color is RAL7016 (graphite).
